A short series of cartoons I did on Facebook "anonymously", now presented here because why not? "Smallwood" is a translation of "小林", or "Kobayashi", and thus a tribute to Japanese cartoonist Yoshinori Kobayashi, of Gomanism fame. This actual picture is a British version of the nationalist protest sound vans seen in Japan, only of course the British version would be a "White Van Man" with a copy of The Sun in the window (though they've got rid of page 3 now, so fuck 'em). And the style of "Smallwood" himself is based on Lizzy The Lezzy. Not in my name. I actually found the first Lizzy the Lezzy cartoon video on Youtube more recently, I bet not many people are even aware that existed. It's so ridiculous and stupid, basically just an upper-middle-class smug woman with a crap voice changer referring to herself and friend with all the homophobic slurs she can think of. I seriously thought it was a crude satire of Lizzy the Lezzy made by somebody from /pol/, but nope, it was the real thing! |
