Black Widowe

A comic I created for the Sentinel, a mooted magazine about British comics that never came off. Oh well, here's all three badly-lettered pages which were made! Also an info page about the story.

Don't ask where the plot was supposed to go after this, I have no idea!

Black Widowe

General Info

Jim Black, a 21st-century "gentleman adventurer" starts his own private detective agency. He recruits Gabrielle Widowe, a French woman who grew up in a rough area of Paris and had to battle for survival every moment of her life. He also collects up Micky Webb, a young but brilliant hacker who got caught trying to help Gabrielle out of some trouble in London. The "Black Widow" agency is independent of, but works for, British intelligence.

It's a bit like

CHERUB, Spy Kids without kids

It's more like

The Sonic The Comic version of Streets of Rage (which probably has nothing to do with the 'actual' storyline in the videogames).

…but you've never heard of that.
