Described as "the missing link between Sherlock Holmes and James Bond" Sexton Blake was in publication in one form or another for around 70 years, beginning in 1893. Despite this, the character is nearly forgotten today, though there was a slight resurgence of interest around the turn of the 2010's, with a couple of reprint books and even the first (and only) issue of a brand-new Sexton Blake Library appearing.

Sexton Blake was also intended to be the star attraction of The Red, White & Blue. Origininally I thought the character was in the public domain, as Harry Blyth, the first writer, died in 1898. However, later enquiries with IPC revealed they still own the copyright, so I had to re-launch all my publications containing him.

However, putting "fan fiction" on the internet for free has been a long tradition, so the various stories can now be found here! They have had minor corrections of grammar, spelling and plot. Where relevant, other text or illustrations that referenced the story are also reproduced.
