General Info:

The Ann in 'Old' Felney came from a fairly middle class family, and was always horny and silly. She still had more characterisation than all 3 of the main characters put together!

The New Felney version of Ann is more working class, but she was born to a liberal family in London, so they were never fussed by her sexuality. She does nude modelling for a Suicide Girls-type website, and has lots of tattoos and piercings, which will gradually increase over the course of the comic. Her parents were so happy when they found out she was a "lesbian", that they showered her in books about homosexuality. She ended up getting anxiety about her sexuality in reverse, when she started experiencing straight feelings, too!

Both versions have shortish blue hair (the modern version will ocasionally introduce other colours), and have a sort of androgynous face.

Character Origin:

Tina was based on a lesbian (or maybe bi) girl from my college. But Ann looks nothing like her girlfriend XD. Not long before I started Felney, I had a lesbian e-friend called "Placebo", who said she had short blue hair. I never actually saw a picture of her, though! I also liked Bubblegum Crisis (the original series, and the Bubblegum Crash OVA's ((thanks for that VHS cover, you stupid fuckers, I couldn't actully buy it when I was 15 as my parents would have thought it was porn))), and the leader of the Knight Sabers had short blue hair. Though that was an anime, so her hair was probably a natural blue XD.

Oh, also "Placebo's" parents were definitely not okay with her sexuality. Be a shame if they woke up on fire one morning, wouldn't it?
